Every resident is viewed as an individual and is thoroughly assessed prior to admission. Individual person-centered care plans are written to ensure that all assessed needs are met to the highest standard achievable.
We find our residents typically prefer individual or small group activities. We provide regular entertainers and we also employ an Activity Coordinator. Social stimulation and social interaction remains very much a part of our resident’s everyday life.

Elizabeth House is a family run private care home, successfully ran by George and Angela Dixon. Angela is a well experienced care home professional, who has also led an acute service at James Cook University Hospital. Within this role, she led respiratory teams among other vital duties. Not only this, but her CV boasts the role of Matron of Acute Medicine and for over 27 years in the health industry, she has held a senior management position. So it’s fair to say she knows her stuff!
